"I was sick the day they taught me about punctuation", G laughs, as Ings tries to explain commas, ellipses and all the other things that count in an English sentence. Moving on as we do, we make our choices in life always, dont we? (Compulsory British question at the end of that sentence please.) I mean, thinks G, we MAKE choices about all sorts of things whether they're imaginary or not (I have a little imaginary friend for instance...more about that some other time. lol)
But all this rambling is neither here nor there, and its news I share. Well, mostly ;)
G approached UBS where he works and asked about a permanent job in US. UBS haven't been able to fill job for about a year; only a madman would work for these cowboys after-all. So G waits for things to progress and in the meantime we live and make choices. If things do progress we'll fly on over and have a look, Ings will make bottle of jam and make a fortune.
G plays lots of music again, digging the vibe and finding the inspiration from all sorts of places. www.myspace.com/glensgold has some bits and pieces, old and new. Wonderful to be doing it with all his fancy gear.
Ings is working hard, resting and working hard again. A strain mostly, but a choice.
Its easy when you look at it with these morning eyes on a Sunday in this digitised ink, isn't it? Yes it is.

Beethoven was Sagittarius too dude...
What's with the title? Don't know. Ings mumbles it while surfing on her brandish newish Mac laptop I purchased for her a few months ago. For those that followed the downunder link and into SA; we left SA after some deeeeeep thinking over a good few glasses of wine, sunsets, spending time with loved and hated (just jokes) ones, and everything else that went into a fantastic 6 month holiday/soul searching experience, arriving back in the UK in February 2008.
We had a possibility of living it up in Melbourne as it turned out, but while we loved the vibe of the city, we figured the weather is so shit there, that for another couple of years we might as well be here and earning some poundages and well, contend with not seeing the sun for a few months a year. We may then be able to afford one of the lovely houses we saw in Albert Park where we stayed in Melbourne or Woolhara in Sydney!! We considered living it up in Cape Town again, but longer term prospects and salaries dissuaded us and it was with a wrench that we left.
Since then:
We live in the Richmond now, drop in and have a cup of whatever it is you fancy:) We love company, honest.
Richmond park less than a mile up the road; Gee has continued his good runnings like a good rabbit and is a shadow of his former self.
Ings' foot has healed: Yes, we had an accident in SA while getting coffee which caused a great leg problem of the broken kind. Hot damn it was not funny times. Well, it was if you were watching her hobble about on the crutches!
Recently, Ings fell from a stationery train out of the door and onto the platform. This again was not funny unless you happened to see the event. Hurt her left arm this time. Not amusing. Glad it's healed now.
Ings works for lastminute.com. She loves it.
Gee is working for UBS again. He loves it even more.
Just more recently:
We're back from Greece! We were on the island of Alonissos for a week, about 1 hour 30 mins from Skiathos. Unfortunately, it was a bit rainy, but it's veeeeeeery relaxed and we are suitably refreshed. Pics up on Flickr in the usual spot.
Marky Sparky Hendrix is in town soon, we're both very excited about seeing him and Wayne. Such wonderful company and fun to have around. No friends like old friends :)
For now:
It's Sunday night and we have a lemony roast chicken in the oven and the heating is on so we are cosying up and catching up on what we Sky +'ed while we were away. Sorry, no room on the couch.
